After a long face to face interview, the manager sent me a email informing she would get in touch in the next days. After 6 weeks waiting without response, I sent a email asking for a feedback. Nothing happened. It is unbelievable how a HR member from the biggest hotel industry in the world, recruiting for a manager position in the head office in Germany has reacted so unprofessional and working under low quality standards. At least we are HR colleagues and I expected another attitude. As a HR professional I know the challenges of recruiting and I would appreciate a personal feedback. This is the way I do after face to face interviews. After a fews weeks I got a standard email generated from a system.
I am glad it turned out like this in the beginning. I couldn't not have worked under this mentality and standards. Marriott was always a reference for me but now it a a example from a big and arrogant company. Sad experience.
