      Back Office Interview

      Mar 30, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Marriott International (London, England)

      Interview

As what most have mentioned, the interviewers used STAR technique. I wish they were more flexible instead of using cookie cutter questions. I applied for back office position with no customer interaction on day to day basis, but a lot of the questions were more suitable for positions with customer interactions and not related at all to the position that I applied for. During the interview, one of the interviewer kept on asking me if I would resign should my old company wants me back. The interview was done during pandemic and I was quite surprised that the interviews were done face to face instead of online. Had to wait for more than a month to receive the computer generated rejection email.
