I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Marsh (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2013
Interview
Very thorough. First was a one hour phone interview with HR Director which was scheduled for 20-25 minutes by admin but went a full hour. Great rapport, basically fact-finding. Then received a call two weeks later for in-person interview. Initially met with HRD again for about an hour, took Wonderlic test. Next I met with Department Head. Very direct, aggressive questions but I was able to respond cogently. After about an hour I got a brief tour of the office and was offered lunch following week with team member. Lunch went well - casual. Got more info on position. Then took Kolbe test online. Further tests from industrial psychologist who I then met with to review off-site. Finally lunch with one of the two partners and an offer.

Interview
It was great, I went through four rounds, and everyone was very friendly throughout the entire process. I had a very helpful internal recruiter who readily answered my calls at any time. The conversation was very nice.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Marsh in Jan 2025
Interview
Absolutely disorganized, possibly the worst interview experience I have ever had. Took over a MONTH of back and forth emails with their recruiter to get a Zoom interview. Met with two managers in the Zoom meeting, where one of the managers tried pitching a completely different, lower-paying position. At the end of the meeting, I was told I would hear back in a couple of days, never did.
Had a phone interview and followed by a zoom interview as this was during COVID with a follow up phone call to offer the job. The overall experience was very easy and enjoyable as the applicant.
