I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Marshalls (Olathe, KS) in Feb 2014
Interview
Applied via Snagajob. Got a call the next day and went in two days after I applied. During the "interview", I was asked to describe myself. Then they asked a couple of easy questions. Then explained what Marshall's/TJMaxx (they're part of the TJM family) is and what kind of job duties you would be doing. Only one interview with the HR manager. Got a call the next Monday saying to come in a few days later for Orientation.

Question 1
Not really difficult but unexpected was to describe myself.
Asked what availability I have for part time seasonal work. Asked about historical job experience, how to handle specific tasks, asked for references. Asked if you can lift to a certain weight and stock items etc.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Marshalls
Interview
Pretty short and straight to the point. Ask you basic scenarios, past work experiences, all that good stuff. They also ask technical questions like are you a us citizen and what not. But overall super easy.
The interview process was quite easy and the interviewers were nice. There was a 10 minute phone screening and then a 20 minute interview with the manager at the store location.
