I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Marshalls (New York, NY) in Jul 2015
Interview
The Marshalls I applied for was one of the largest locations in America. The manager interviewed applicants in groups. There were around ten of us. It was pretty difficult to stand out among the large crowd. They had first given us an application with interview questions and we were to answer them. After handing in the application, the manager called all of us into a room and she would ask questions and every applicant would get a turn to reply.
The interview process consisted of getting to know you, why you would be a good fit for this role, asking questions on hypothetical situations as an associate, and your availability.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Marshalls
Interview
Cool process, nothing to worry about. Go in and be your best self. It was a fairly simple process more of a nice conversation, but still prepare I would say. Best tip I have is just have eye contact
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What's your greatest achievement or accomplishment
Asked what availability I have for part time seasonal work. Asked about historical job experience, how to handle specific tasks, asked for references. Asked if you can lift to a certain weight and stock items etc.
