The overall interview process was relatively standard. The first round consisted of a screening call with a recruiter. The recruiter provided insight about the team and high level job information.
The next round was a call with the hiring manager. He was very insightful and asked appropriate questions given the position. I could tell that he listened to me. This was key to me because I've been in other interviews where I feel like I am not listened to. Our call was more of a conversation and lasted much longer than the scheduled time.
The final round was a series of conversations with nine individuals on the team. Each session was slightly different and I was able to provide context around my experience and the interviewers allowed time for me to ask questions. Thankfully, a break was incorporated so I had time to recoup. The final interview ended with a short conversation with the hiring manager. He wanted to get a pulse on the conversations and provided next step information.
Overall the process was positive. I started the process around the holidays so it was likely extended due to people being out.
