I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mathnasium (Vaughan, ON) in Aug 2018
Interview
The entire process was extremely laid back. I applied through Indeed and two days later I got an invitation to go for an interview. I interviewed with the owner so she told me a little about herself and asked me to tell her a little about myself. She asked me about my availability. As I had just graduated from high school and was about to start university, so naturally she wanted to know my class schedule. She told me I basically had the job at this point. She asked for two references and a police vulnerable sector check. I emailed her my references right away and got my police check the next week. She asked me to meet with her to sign the employee forms and complete the math assessment package. She assured me the package was not a test and was just for administrative purposes as well as to see where I was at in terms of high school level math. The assessment took about an hour. Immediately after I finished, she said I was officially hired. Extremely straightforward and laid back process.
Easy middle school to high school level math questions. Gave you an hour for questions that took less than 30 minutes in total. Graded lightly as well so very hard to do bad on.

Interview
very easy interview, asked about experience and availability. The interview is also super quick and they try to know what level of math you know up to. Also need to take an employment test that has questions from elementary to beginning of high school. Need to pass this test in order to be employed.

Interview
You get asked behavioral questions, and then you will take a math test on topics from elementary to high school math. The test is not very hard and is mostly a review of classes you took before high school.
