Interview
This is the most unorganized and unprofessional interview I have ever had in my life. The VP of engineer couldn't commit to a final onsite interview date until the day before, and when I arrived, they were scrambling to get the right people to talk to me. They didn't have ANY schedule and just played it by the ear. The whole thing was rather adhoc, with interviewers bumbling one question after another, not sure what they should be asking. They didn't even offer me a break or lunch or anything like that. At the end of the interview, the guy finally said, we'll get back to you. The next morning, he told me to do some coding question online in 45 minutes. He didn't even ask me if it was convenient for me to do so. When I was done, he finally said to come to their onsite interview, AGAIN. So once again, they were just scrambling to get some people to talk to me.
A tour of their office convinced me that working condition was horrible by Silicon Valley standards. They had a bunch of engineers crammed into a little corner, and boy, did it stink or what. The engineers were anti-social and didn't even seem that happy being there. I found out that they had to let go of people because they didin't fit into their culture, whatever that may be.

Question 1
The lead interviewer had a difficult time not asking questions related to his expertise (vision), but I suspect they weren't even sure what they were hiring for as the disciplines were quite varied. The most difficult part was just setting up 45 minutes to do their online interview (a few questions that could be solved using hash table for storage/lookup, and your basic freshman recursion to get all combination of what they are asking for). None of it was hard, but it was difficult to just go with their flow.
