I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Matterport (Mountain View, CA) in Jun 2013
Interview
I initially applied through their website and I was contacted afterwards by an HR person. I believe they have outsourced their HR to another company since they are still a small operation. I had the phone interview with the HR person who then set up a phone interview with one of the founders. That interview was supposed to be an hour. When he called me, right away he asked me to write a piece of code and send it to him in 15 minutes. It took me 25 minutes to write that code ( i got stuck and a bit anxious). He didnt bother replying to me afterwards. I was n the East coast and so it was about 9:30 pm my time when I emailed him the code. I waited till 11pm to see if he would email me but nothing. I finally emailed him and at midnight i got a one liner telling me that I took too long. VERY unprofessional to keep me waiting a few hours late into the night. Although fair testing process.
