I applied in-person. I interviewed at Maurices (Waterloo, IL) in Apr 2014
Interview
interview was about 1.5 and it was done with 2 different store managers at the same time which was somewhat confusing. A lot of emphasis on sales goals and not much on building customer loyalty. This store is geared more towards the 20- 40 age group and I felt that I was not a good fit due to the fact that I am mid fifties.

Question 1
no real difficult questions. both managers were very green. not many years of experience compared to my 14 years of retail management experience. I think my qualifications were a little overwhelming for both of them to be honest.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Maurices (Fort Collins, CO) in Aug 2023
Interview
Had me walk around the store and put together some outfits for different events. Then had an interview in their stock room. The interview went great, or so I thought! They said they would let me know either way within a week and then never reach out at all!

Question 1
How would you style a customer who is about to go to a country concert.
She wasn't even hiring, she just wanted to talk to me. Basically she tried to convince me to go down to a Temp Sales Associate Position. Applied online Manager had no clue about how her store works, didn't know her inventory system or anything. Complete waste of time, She was very rude as well
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Maurices (Fenton, MI) in Apr 2017
Interview
Very basic, tell me about yourself and your past related experience. The interview took place at a tiny unorganized desk in the stock room of the business, which for me is a red flag right off the bat. It was very brief but to the point, the young interviewer took a couple notes during and I was emailed a letter after stating that I would not be offered a position with the company at this time.
