After the HR screening interview I was scheduled one hour interview with the hiring manager and two other engineers. The interview process was mostly formed around questions like “do you know this technology, do you know that solution etc?” but nothing around like measuring managerial skills, perception, way of thinking and system design. The manager had a hard time to understand if I could work as a manager but also a tech lead because he was not really prepared for the interview and could really ask the core questions needed. If you interview these guys be prepared to say “yes I can & will do anything” because this is what they want to hear regardless the content, looks like no place for hesitation.
