I had two interviews which seemed to go really well. We discussed both my experience as well as the position thoroughly, seemed well aligned, and after my second interview I was told the recruiter would be in touch with feedback and next steps. Several days later I got an impersonal, automated email from their generic careers@ email letting me know I wouldn’t be moving on in the interview process. I know everyone’s busy, but it’s Recruiting 101 to follow up personally once you’re in conversation with a candidate. It felt really disrespectful and unprofessional. While it seemed like a cool place to work, this experience made me question their entire operation.
