Interview
McKesson requested a 30 minute interview with me and gave me the time and date at which I would speak with the interviewer over the phone. The e-mail stated that they would call me. When the day and time came, I waited for 30 minutes, and no one called. I went to check my profile to make sure the phone number was correct-- it was.
I replied to the e-mail, stating my concern that there might've been some kind of miscommunication (maybe I got the time wrong or they didn't have my information), but to no response-- in fact, I believe my e-mail bounced back on one of my tries.
So there was no functioning e-mail to contact HR/recruiting. There was, however, a phone number to call to "reschedule" if needed listed on the email. I called-- nobody was there, so I left a message.
I received a call back, but since I was not available at the time, a representative left a voicemail. Upon receipt, I called again-- this time somebody picked up, and after telling the representative what had happened, she rescheduled me. I made sure they had the right phone number and email on file.
Once again, I received an e-mail confirmation that they would call me. Lo and behold, when that date rolled around, as I sat at my desk.... no contact. No phone call, no e-mail, nothing.
I don't know what happened here--there's a lot of possibilities-- but this is not my first time interviewing or working in corporate. I've personally never experienced this type of situation before. If this is an indication of the type of opaque transparency and frankly, disrespectful hiring... it seems they have no desire to retain high quality hiring practices at all. Providing a functioning reply-to e-mail for candidates is the very least an organization can do in this day and age. As a technology-focused candidate, this was less than encouraging.
After this experience, I had little desire to continue this process further (and reschedule for the second time).
I hope this was all just a blip in the system and that this is not indicative of their actual culture or business practices, but it's not promising.
I will not be chasing down another interview date.

Interview
It was very conversational. Didn't feel like I was having an interview. Felt more like connecting and getting to know the hiring manager. He was very laid back but direct at the same time. Very practical and no nonsense but laid back and down to earth at the same time. I was really impressed.
