The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company in Jan 2010
Interview
3 interviews in first round, 2 interviews with partners in second round. All interviews included a case. The first three interviews aimed to assess based on the four parameters: Leadership, Drive, Personal Impact, and Problem Solving. All three first interviews started with a short presentation of CV. Then the interviewer tried to assess one of the parameters: Leadership, Drive or Personal Impact. First Interview: Describe a challenge you have had. Second Interview: Describe leadership situations. Third Interview: describe your drive. The case aimes to assess problem solving.
All cases included a great deal of business sense and numerical calculations. All cases started with the question: describe your aproach to solve this problem.
