Interview
Emailed a couple of labs to inquire about research assistant positions. They emailed me back and set up interviews. For one of them, I was interviewed by the PI right away. For the other, I was interviewed by the lab manager, and then by the PI.
The interview was not long. It was very conversational. The team provided lots of information about the position, and they were open about wage. They asked some basic interview questions, like describing a time I overcame adversity.
Phone screen first and then spoke with the team of RA’s and the lab’s Director. All very nice and straightforward! No curveball questions, mostly about prior experience and work style.

several rounds, very stupid questions, they keep calling you for interviews for no reason after they have already made a decision, very nonsensical, some of the people who interview themselves have mental disorders
