The initial reachout and interview came from a couple recruiters. Interview was recorded, and I was told it would be shared with team. I was offered an onsite interview after this, but declined because scheduling would have been too difficult.

Variety of behavioral questions, salary expectation, what do you know about McMaster-Carr?
R1 online, R2 in-person, all behavioral, they expect you to ask a ton of questions and a lot of follow up questions when u share an anecdote. u have dinner with them, lunch with them. they have town cars pick u up.

Make sure to ask lots of questions. It is very easy to be "duped" into thinking that you are doing well, but you have absolutely no idea. Seems like an amazing gig, and they definitely want to hear you stress and talk about the work-life balance.

They flew me out for it and put me up in a hotel and everything. Then the interview was a full day - someone was assigned to greet me, give a tour, eat lunch, and three different interviews getting more and more senior throughout the day.
