Phone screen with HR recruiter and then an on-site interview at their Elmhurst location. The on-site interview consisted of a walking tour of the warehouse and office, 4 interviews, and a lunch interview. Note: the walking tour of the warehouse and office is actually an interview as well. The person who gives you the tour will ask you strategy or case questions so be prepared.

The recruiter called me and asked me general questions about my style and related management experience. She told me a little more about the position. The general management role involves working on business processes, projects, etc. I never heard back from the recruiter after the initial phone call.

A recruiter from McMaster-Carr contacted me and set up a phone interview. Even though I had sent my resume directly to the recruiter, she started the interview by asking whether I had sent my resume and then attempting to find it in her inbox. The disorganization was off-putting. The interview itself was pretty straightforward, with a resume walkthrough and some follow-up questions.

First interview over the phone, second in person @ warehouse. Took place in Chicago. Everyone from the receptionist to the interviewers to HR was very nice and helpful. I was really impressed with everything.
