I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2010
Interview
Single phone screen that included simple resume walk-through. Flew me to LA for in person interview loop that included a tour of the facility followed by 4 interviews. Questions included several 'case study' style interview questions along with behavioral 'fit' questions.
Example Case Question: How would you decrease the volume of email requests our agents have to process?
Example Fit Question: Tell me about a time when you had to make a difficult decision

Question 1
Example Case Question: How would you decrease the volume of email requests our agents have to process?
This question was posed after being able to connect with live agents taking calls, reviewing the customer management system, and being given an opportunity to ask an agent questions. Each interview has the same format mat: Tour/Interview/Case question about something you saw on the tour.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr
Interview
Made it past phone call screening and had a one-on-one chat with a current manager before final round of interviews. Each round was 45 minutes to an hour long and questions were difficult. Have lots of examples ready. Have different answers ready for similar questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Chicago, IL)
Interview
The interview process was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. I really appreciated that the discussions were fully behavioral, allowing me to naturally draw on my past experiences. Furthermore, the company truly goes out of its way to treat you like a VIP throughout the entire visit, covering a remarkably nice hotel stay and providing a generous stipend to ensure you are completely comfortable.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Chicago, IL)
Interview
One behavioral interview with a recruiter and then a day-long onsite interview at the Elmhurst IL location. Superday has two behavioral interviews, walkarounds and more but feels like you're being observed everyday.
