There was a phone interview first, followed by an on site interview with a physician assistant and attending physician. The people were very friendly. I met several members of the staff.

Interview
Interviewed with the PA director for 2 hours discussed a lot of details of the job and questions to me about past experiences etc. I also provided them with 3 references following the interview. I then met with a lead PA and some other members of the team. Was there for 3 hours in total. 2 weeks passed and I hadn’t heard anything. I reached out to ask if there was anything else they needed. They responded a week later saying they would be making a decision soon. Never heard a word again. I just wish they had the courtesy to tell me if they weren’t moving forward instead of just ghosting me. Annoying overall.

Heard back with interview date a month after applying for job. Good interview experience meeting the entire department. Questions asked about what made me interested about the field and about myself. Not a typical structured interview.
