Difficult, but fair. The company is very careful in the hiring process to ensure they are hiring people with (i) the skills needed to succeed in the role, (ii) the drive and attitude needed to succeed at the company, and (iii) the personality that is a good culture fit.
The interview process is lengthy, but it made me proud to make it through each stage. They weren't going to give it to me. I had to earn it.

I was contacted by a recruiter and did a thirty minute call. After that I was invited into the office and met with someone from the team. Talked about my experience and the company. After that I got an email the next day asking me to give solutions to their problems which took about four hours. Sent it back only to get a reply two hours later they already made an offer to someone else further along in the process. If you know someone is that far along why would you have someone go through all that work? The culture and people seemed great I really didn’t think the interview process was very professional. This all transpired within a seven day period.

Interview
Really smooth process, everyone I met through the process was lovely. I was kept informed of each step of the process throughout.
The process started with a phone screen with a recruiter and a member of the team for some technical questions.
I was then brought in for a one on one with my would be manager.
After this round I was given a project to work on and then brought in to present in front of a panel after which I had more one on ones with members of the team.
Overall the process was fair, everyone is really passionate about the company and really friendly.

Emailed them my resume, and was contacted a month later for a phone screening. They told me the purpose was to make sure that my interests and the interests of Medbridge "aligned." To me it seemed like they weren't really screening to weed out unqualified applicants, but rather to weed out those who's salary expectations were higher than they wanted to pay. It was clear they wanted to low-ball each applicant. I told them my expected salary was the average entry-level salary for someone in that field in this area (based on research I did), and they seemed uninterested. When I asked them what salary range they had in mind, they gave a vague response and didn't provide a number. I never heard from them again (they didn't even have the courtesy to send a rejection notice). I will not be applying here again.
