I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Medline Industries (Northfield, IL) in Apr 2018
Interview
The process at Medline takes more time than most other companies. Be forewarned that if they are quick to jump on your resume, it's usually because of the previous person in that position left without much notice. The HR department isn't very polite when you go through the initial phone screen which made me question whether the company was a good fit. Of course, it depends on who is interviewing. They ask very few basic questions once you have a face to face meeting with the hiring manager and usually two other people. Sometimes they come prepared having reviewed your resume, most of the time they do not. they expect you to put on a show as a salesperson since that how this company survives is on its sales teams. They are very vague about the expectations they have from you, so going in you have to be very clear about they want. Overall, if they present you with an offer, you will be shocked because compared to other medical devices, they are extremely low with salaries even though they did move to be closer to downtown to attract new graduates and talent. Always keep your options open and keep applying to other companies that definitely offer much better salaries and workloads with many opportunities for growth. If you do go through with it, take another company's offer to in order to negotiate a much better salary so you will be happier with your position at Medline.

Question 1
Why do you want to work for Medline?
What is the biggest accomplishment you are proud of?
Are you able to handle major product lines and work under pressure?
Can you work independently without any micro-management?
3 rounds of talking — interview was a while back so don’t remember much. Questions were fairly generic so unsure how they come up with their decisions. It felt as if this was a personality hire type of interview with not as much substance

1 phone screening
1 HR round

Very fast process and informative from the company side. However, the 2 final rounds with the senior product managers were 45 minutes and back to back, and I had to do them online.

The first interview consisted of Behavioral Interview Questions. I met with a Senior Product Manager and when I didn’t move on in the interview process the only feedback I received was to brush up on my business acumen.
