I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Medtronic (Miami, FL) in Aug 2016
Interview
A recruiter from Medtronic contacted me through LinkedIn. I read about the position that was available. The recruiter set up web ex for me. Then I had a telephone interview with someone from IT. Person interviewing was very nice. At one point our call was cut off. I apologized when I called back, but he seemed unfazed.

Interview
There were 3 rounds and all of it were really good.
1. Technical - India Face to Face
2. Technical - Skype Call with onsite BA
3. Managerial Round
The interview process was smooth, but the HR is of no use. HR sends a different date from the date of Interview and expects you to be there on the actual day of the interview just before an hour of the interview in Bangalore Traffic. I did manage to reach the venue before time but the HR was stuck in Traffic.
Once the interview was done there was no response from the HR and personally I had to call the HR and still they do not pick the call.
HR sent one email asking for documents and that is all they fell dead.
Finally After doing multiple follow ups with the Recruitment firm, they mentioned that the position is on Hold.
But why conduct interview if you want to hold the position and waste someone else time

Communication is the main thing that is looked into , rest of the checking is done on the part of basics of subject. There were three rounds of interview first being more technical second is with the Supervisor here more on technical process. Final round was with manager.
