I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic (Irvine, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
A week after an initial phone interview with the manager, I had a full day in-person interview. The team members were nice and encouraging. The manager asked more difficult questions and repeated the same questions.
The negative: They never contacted me after the full-day interview with any feedback. Unprofessional.

Question 1
Why do you want to be a medical writer? Why medical devices? Repeated by each of the 5 interviewers. Tell me about your writing process... "Tell me" about a variety of situations. There's also an hour long writing assessment.
Pretty rigorous but painless. Got to speak with a senior medical writer and then the manager. Unfortunately was informed of next steps but then never heard back from the company.
