Phone interview with recruiter was great: 15 minutes and was very straightforward. I got an email 2 days later saying I was moving forward in the process and will be interviewed by the Hiring Manager (Associate Director) and will be hearing from them to schedule the second interview. 9 days go by and I don’t hear anything so I reach out and the recruiter states that they are experiencing delays on their end and will get back to me soon with updates. 2 days later they email saying they I’m actually NOT moving forward and they’ve decided to proceed with other candidates. MSK and other employers can hire whoever and however they want, however, it is highly unprofessional and frankly rude to tell a candidate that they are moving forward to next rounds, leave them hanging for weeks, then tell them oh no, you’re actually not moving forward. It’s very disappointing. I was a patient of MSK and I was really looking forward to working with such a great institution that I really believed in. Unfortunately they lost my respect. And based on other reviews written here, I’m not the only person this has happened to.
