I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Menards (Oshkosh, WI) in Sep 2021
Interview
I did a short application online and then was asked to choose a time to have an interview in the store. When I got to the store, I was directed to an open desk in the project center part of the store where the HR guy sat. It was actually kind of akward--what if my current employer was shopping at the time? The interview went kind of long and was non-standard. He didn't seem to have the authority to hire someone above the assistant department manager position.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Menards (Grand Rapids, MI) in Jan 2017
Interview
Very relaxed yet professional! Answered some questions about drugs and alcohol...yes and no...multiple choice. Manager was very straight forward. I spent about an hour in the interview. He discussed the process. The pay was a lot lower than I expected.
