I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Menards (Jamestown, ND) in Feb 2019
Interview
The interview was really chill. General character type questions. Not really anything to worry about if you're sensible and have some common sense. The entire interview was only about twenty to twenty-five minutes.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Menards (South Bend, IN) in Jun 2011
Interview
You schedule a time with one of the general managers or HR coordinators for when the review will take place and meet them at the meeting room in whatever store it is that you apply for when that time comes. They have a few simple job-related questions that they ask you to help not only get to know you, but also learn why they should hire you and what you would be able to bring to the table if given the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why should we hire you?
What are your strong points?
What are some areas you can improve in?
What do you have to offer?
What is the first thing you do when you see a customer?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Menards (Beloit, WI) in Feb 2010
Interview
Very shortly after the application I was called by the HR manager and asked to schedule an interview that week. There were two interviews, one that involved only the HR manager, and one that involved the Store GM, and the department manager. During the interviews I was asked very straight forward questions, concerning my work history, and schooling.

Question 1
There were no really out there questions. The worst for me were questions about my education (as a dropout)
