I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Menards (South Haven, MI) in Sep 2011
Interview
Filled out forms verifying i wouldn't steal, verified i could lift things of certain weight. Was pretty easy as I knew several people who worked there already. I had to take a drug test and watch a lot of training videos to drive the high lows. I think it was a lot more laid back with the receiving managers than anyone else.
I applied online. I interviewed at Menards in Jan 2014
Interview
Easy, Quick and right to the point. Meet with Storge GM and shipping and receiving Manager as well as HR. The interview lasted 30 min and then I was giving a tour of the store and department. And was that was that the background and drug test took I believe a week.
