I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Merck in Sep 2020
Interview
There were a few different rounds. I met with someone at a national conference first. I then interviewed with a recruiter who then set up an interview with a director. After that interview I had a full day of interviews with the greater team. I was able to contact the two directors via email to ask any questions and the recruiter via phone. The whole process took maybe 2-3 months.

I applied online. I interviewed at Merck (Rahway, NJ) in Feb 2026
Interview
the interview consisted of three rounds of interviews, last interview was a panel interview that consisted of the whole day. Spoke with many different members of the team but similar questions were repeated through out the day.
The interviewing process was pretty straightforward, kind of long. First, was the recruiter screening and if you make it past that, then the panel interview with the team, managers, and director. Also, there was a technical assessment.
