Communication preceding the interview was very positive. The interview itself was not very challenging, although the entire application process and timing was quite strung out. The most memorable takeaways were: 1) The panel was clearly disengaged while I was answering their questions (e.g looking at different monitors while I was actively speaking). This became a bit uncomfortable as it lasted the entire time. 2) Complete silence afterwards. I had been in contact with this team for months preceding the Interview and would have appreciated at least a rejection email. At the time, I had received other offers and was awaiting word back as Mercy Corps was my ideal pick. Would have appreciated the respect of knowing.

It was with a group of four researchers who currently worked there. That made the process very stressful. it was over zoom and a bit strange because of that too. They asked me the normal describe your self questions but they were really disjointed.

There were two people interviewing and they asked me a few questions for about thirty minutes and then asked me if I had any questions or concerns. They held a feedback call with me when I didn't get it and were very helpful.
