I had an initial phone interview with the recruiter. First, should could not recall how she met me. I had to refresh her memory that she reached out to me directly as she got my name through networking. It was obvious she was going off a script vs knowing her audience and having a conversation accordingly. She couldn't explain the "new role" they were recruiting for. She's recruiting for a management role, yet conducting the call as if talking to a campus recruit.
