I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Merkle (Columbia, MO) in Jul 2017
Interview
Did an initial phone screening, followed up with a more in depth conversation with a recruiter and then a phone screening with the hiring manager. I did a virtual interview with a group, which was a little awkward because they did not offer to fly me in for an in person interview.

Question 1
Asked me about my experience with different social platforms and my perspective on using analytics.
It was an advisory role sr. analyst xm. The hiring manager was really nice and supportive. Honestly a lot of industry jargons was something he explained over the call and he and i aligned on the thought process and i got out thinking very positively about the role and org. The next round changed my entire perspective. It was with the director and he was the rudest person I had come across. He kept berating me as if interviews are meant to show you down and not to understand the best fit. It is one of the most traumatic experiences I have had in interviews.
