This was my second chance with Facebook, the first time I didn't pass the phone screen. After one year of my failure, I got contacted by a recruiter. * Phone screen 1: An array problem with a follow-up. A tree problem: the interviewer didn't explain very well the question, I tried to solve what I thought was asking but it was not what she was trying to ask. The recruiter told me that I will have another phone screen that was scheduled 2 weeks later. * Phone screen 2: a matrix problem that I was able to optimize. I passed to the onsite, I scheduled it around 3 months later. Onsite: it was a virtual onsite due to the COVID. Each interview lasted 45 min. 1. A graph problem: I misunderstood the problem, I had to refactor my code and I was able to solve the problem but I didn't have time to code the follow-up. 2. Behavior interview. 3. 2 coding questions: I was able to solve the first problem, I didn't have time to think about an optimal solution for the second problem. 4. System Design. 5. 2 coding questions: I was able to solve the first problem, I gave a brute force solution for the second problem. 2 days after my onsite: the recruiter called me and asked me some questions about my previous experience. 10 days after my onsite: I got an offer but they offered me a non-negotiable Rotational SWE role. I accepted the offer.
