Meta Lead Engineer interview questions

The recruiter handled everything well and kept the process steady. The issue came in the final round. The communication gap with the engineer was significant enough that it disrupted the flow of the interview. Questions weren’t clear, follow-ups didn’t land, and the conversation never found a productive rhythm. It made it hard to show my skills or understand what they were really evaluating. If they want stronger interviews, they need to ensure candidates and interviewers can communicate clearly, either by pairing interviewers more effectively or offering clearer structure during the technical round.
