I got a unscheduled call from a Technical Team member after applying on the website. He asked questions about my previous experiences, explained the role and enquired about my reason for applying and my future goals in the role if hired. I was told the application will be passed onto the hiring team and an on-site meeting will be scheduled if they choose to move forward with it. I received a rejection email almost right after I got off the call.
