      Program Management Interview

      May 11, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Declined offer
      Positive experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft

      Interview

I only did an interview with HR, was asked questions about how I had a problem in a project and solved it (in a technical way), then how I had a problem with my team members and how I approached it, what projects from Microsoft I like the most and why.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

You are given 3 boxes, each one has either apples, oranges, or apples and oranges. All three are labeled incorrectly in terms of what is inside of them. You can only pick out one item from each box and according to them find out the right label for each box.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2017

      Interview

Phone screen, which I didn't pass - really weird and formal interviewer who seemed like she was just writing down my answers. I kept trying to make it conversational but the woman was really stiff about it.
