I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Microsoft (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2020
Interview
Applied online and received an email to schedule a 1st round a week later. Very unorganized, interviewer was confused on the interview process and didn’t expect to be interviewing that day. Radio silence for 3 months and my emails to the recruiters went unanswered. Had to find out from others in the process that they filled their class and were pushing start dates back to 2022.
My advice is to get better recruiters that are responsive and human enough to deliver a rejection instead of giving radio silence...
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Microsoft in May 2024
Interview
I applied through the website. A recruiter reached out to schedule a 20 minute phone call consisting of basic questions. The main interview day consisted of three 30-minute interviews. The interviewers ranged from senior analysts to Directors.
