Question 1
Describe talent sourcing tools you have used in previous roles.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Microsoft (London, England) in Jul 2025
Interview
Worst candidate experience ever!!!
I’ve now interviewed twice with Microsoft’s AI recruiting team, and both experiences have been deeply disappointing.
• First time: The recruiter ghosted me after the screening call, ignored multiple follow-ups, and only came back eight weeks later with a rejection.
• Second time: The interviewer was clearly disengaged throughout the call, and it took the team a full month to return with a decision.
This pattern shows a lack of respect for candidates’ time and effort. The process felt disorganized, unprofessional, and borderline lazy. After going through this twice, I would not consider interviewing with Microsoft AI again
-structured and well designed
-professional and well trained mature interviewers
-feeling respected
-process could be a little bit too long
-took longer time between different rounds
-overall, very pleasant interview experience
