I applied through a recruitment agency, which initially called me for a few questions. Shortly after, they informed me that Microsoft had invited me for the first round of interviews. I was interviewed by someone from the team other than the hiring manager. The interview went well, and I had the opportunity to learn more about the role.
When I followed up with the agency for feedback, I was told that Microsoft had slightly changed the job specifications. They created a new job advertisement with these amended details, and I received a rejection after the first round of interviews.

Took 2 weeks - was liasoned through a third party agency and was pretty slow. JD was not too clear on no of years of experience, they were looking for someone pretty senior for this role.
