      Research Intern Interview

      Jun 2, 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft in Feb 2021

      Interview

Interview about myself + my work + an open question introducing their task and asking for solutions. Then a 3-steps coding task on-cite, I used Python. I had an empty room to site there alone, and it took ~2 hours. In the end an employee came and I described him my process.

The interview is about research, takes about 1 h, after that I didnt hear anything back even with followup emails. The recruitment portal is useless, and it never got updated. There is even no HR just with one of the team member from that group.
