Applied Aug 4, they reached out for availability to schedule interview which I submitted same day but did not hear back, checked back in with them on Aug 11 and no response. Then Aug 30 they finally reached back out saying job was put on pause but now open again. Had the interview next day. Recruiter was professional but when going through my experience I was cut off and directed to the agenda of what the recruiter wanted. Felt that it was way too rushed and not personal, recruiter did mention req load was high so maybe more focused on hitting all the number and contacts rather than a connect. then after comp was out of range and recruiter saying it was more than what my experience showed and basically kept telling me other candidates are better and they are gonna stick with them even though recruiter mentioned that the role just opened back up. just felt like i was just another number for them to call and no time to make a connection. And didn't like that the recruiter said that my experience didn't match what i was asking for but didn't take the time to understand why my comp request was the amount it was. And didn't like that recruiter kept saying that other candidates were basically way more qualified but again, didn't really listen to what I can bring to the company. Definitely rushed and not personal. And didn't even ask if I had any questions or care to listen of the other opportunities I had and how they were similar to what their role was.
