READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING- after an initial phone interview, the next thing required for this "position" is that you go into three accounts that carry their products, and take three pictures in each account of places you think their products could be displayed better, merchandised better, etc.
The recruiter sounds very nice, but I was somewhat skeptical after hearing this was a requirement. I was afraid that they were just wanting someone that knows what they are doing to give them ideas and pointers, and that is exactly what it is. I have years of experience managing accounts in stores, and gave them a very thorough idea of what they could improve upon. After that, I had a brief interview with a manager in the company to try and extract more information from me. Then you will never hear from them again. No returned calls or emails.
They do a good job of making it sound like there is a legit position, but there obviously wasn't. The recruiter will send you a request to join your linkedin page, which is another way they are trying to gain awareness for their product, I assume.
Very poor business practices.
