initial 20 minute screener call with product engineer. the engineer started the interview late, and the first thing he asked me was "what are you doing this weekend". dude, i don't even know you. weirdest question i've ever been asked immediately during an interview. threw me off entirely. he then proceeds to ramble off two technical questions about react components and api routes. weirdest interview i've ever had and it helped me understand why the company has such poor security practices. the follow up after the technical screener is a coding assignment.
