I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Morningstar (Woburn, MA) in Mar 2018
Interview
Had a phone interview and did well on that. Didn't hear back until a month later. They wanted to have an onsite interview with me. When I got there I was offered a beverage. Interview only lasted about an hour but I was told about the company and the position. Then I was given a coding test. I was close to getting the answer correct but unfortunately I wasn't able to at the time. I was told on the spot that they would not be moving forward with me. Overall the guy was nice and gave some criticisms , but I did not appreciate being told that my programming skills were weak even if the coding problem was easy. The other thing I didn't like was the recruiter didn't let me take home the work and the coding problem. Fortunately I was able to remember it :). I was also rejected on the spot and while I do appreciate not being led on for like a week, I just wish he had sent me an email about that along with the criticisms.

Interview
It was easy dsa questions and few sql and mostly it was calm and composed interview and i got selected later on same day after giving interview later on hr questions were on how you fit what actions u take and all that
round 1 Is a 30 minute interview with the senior manager, basically does a deep dive into projects and skills in your resume and then technical questions. round 2 Is onsite
I asked the HR contact what type of questions/assessment the interview would consist of, and they said whiteboarding technical problems. The actual interview surprisingly was questions about my experiences instead.
