      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mozilla (Ottawa, ON) in Aug 2021

      Interview

Interview process is amazing and very relevant to the job position. All the interviewers that you will talk to are leading technical individuals in the industry, even the hiring managers and will provide amazing feedback where ever possible. HR is also very responsive and will work hard for your interview needs. Entire process can take up to 3 - 3.5 weeks from start to finish. Interview started off with talking to HR followed by a couple of calls from hiring managers to find a good fit. This process can take up to a week depending on how the conversations go. Next step is a take home exercise which is very relevant to your position and then deeper dive conversation on your technical process with it as well as technical questions regarding the exercise. A System Design interview and a final Behavioural interview is also done. This entire process can take another week depending on the interviewer availability. A decision is then made after hiring managers and HR collect feedback from all parties involved. Best advice for interviewers is to set aside enough time for the entire process, the interviews are relevant and good for senior developers unlike Facebook and other competitors who will take you through the hackerrank/leetcode grind no matter the position you're applying for.
