I was kind of nervous and a little bit panicked at first when i went for the interview imagining everything that could go wrong and all other stuffs (well to be honest everyone gets a little bit panicked before a job interview right? ). But to my surprise, everything went so well that no one can imagine. The HRs and all the people who came from the company to hire us were so friendly and calm that all your tension will go away. In the morning they gave a presentation about the company profile and job details etc. Then we were all asked to attend an online aptitude test conducted by AIMCAT which is the hiring partner of MphasiS. Soon after the online exam, results were displayed containing the names of people who cleared the initial screening. Next we were all asked to go one by one for HR and Technical interview which is a one-on-one interview. As usual i was nervous. When i went inside, there was a person sitting who smiled at me and introduced himself. I was so relieved that moment. and then he asked me to sit down and tell him something about me. I did as he asked, after a small conversation about myself, he asked me about my final year project and details about it. i told him everything. Finally he asked me why i want to join the company. After that he asked me if i had any questions to ask him. then he told me to wait for the results and said all the best. i was waiting in tension for the results. Then few minutes later i heard my name being called again. Then i went there and came to know that i cleared the tech and hr interview and now i am supposed to go through a final interview which would be a telephonic one. They gave us all with a sheet of paper containing our unique password and a set of questions. we were supposed to dial a number given by them and talk to the machine ivrs. The machine will examine our answers and accent and then it will rate us. I did everything as instructed and then we all were asked to assemble at the conference room for final result. After few minutes results were announced and i was one of the final candidates who was chosen for the job. I still remember that moment as if it happened yesterday. So finally a note of advice for candidates who are going to appear for an interview for a job in Mphasis, hard work is the key of success, dont be panic and nervous at any situation, prepare well about technical aspects and be aware of latest happenings in the company and also around the worls. You dont have to be a genious, all they want to see is a passion to learn and excel. Good luck !!
