I started with a consultant call for the profile with Mphasis-HP and 2 days later HR scheduled a call for first round of interview. It got cleared and again 2 days later I received a technical call.
I do not know the knowledge that interviewer posess but he is little awkward asking questions. The approach was negative while framing questions and more of theoratical attempt in it. It was an IT Architect position but Interviewer was more interested seeking asnwers from the book he might have read. I also tried to explain high lievel and low levels designs of a solution point of view but he was more interested into the book that he was reading and trying to match with my words. I thought of exhibiting my problem solving abilities but that was also ignored.
Later I checked with HR and they confirmed that he was an engineer not an architect taking Architect's interview. It was appalling. How can an engineer assess the knowledge of an Architect?
