I interviewed 2 months ago for a sales position through an employment bagency. I was told they definitely wanted me, but to wait until they moved into their new facility. Finally I was informed that the position was filled from within, but that left a data entry open and they still wanted me. Today I found out that the position was also filled. For over 2 months they strung me along and there was no email or phone call informing me of their decision.
It truly amazes me that employees are expected to give 2 weeks notice, prospective employers don't have the decency to let you know the position has been filled.
Pathetic excuse for an HR person as well as company.
