Got a call from someone in HR about the slot I applied for. She immediately launched into deep interview questions such as "why do you want this specific role?" I informed her that we had not yet in fact discussed the role at all, and I felt that was a question that would come later in the process once we discussed it. Her response was "well you didn't read the ad you applied to 7 days ago?" Nope nope no tolerance for that kind of snark. Told her I wasn't interested and hung up.
