Roughly 3 phone screenings, followed by 2 interviews over Skype and an In-person interview. Being an upcoming college graduate living in the West Coast, considerable efforts were made by both parties to accommodate the interview process. There was significant feedback provided to me, though all of my interviews but the final in-person was conducted by the same person. After a nearly 5 month process, I flew from the West Coast to NYC for an interview in Secaucus, where I was presented a bit of a good-cop, bad-cop routine that was highly differentiated from the previous rounds. Walking out of the interview mystified, I didn't expect to get the job, which I was more than willing to accept and move on from. What I absolutely did not expect was to never even receive a rejection letter, despite multiple attempted follow-up emails and calls. Following such an extensive interview process, it is a harsh disappointment to be ghosted by a prestigious organization, and caused me to re-consider a career in sports, at least within content production. Apparently the Content Production role they interviewed for was so inundated with candidates that matters of basic professional courtesy were thrown to the side.
