      Cost Analyst Interview

      Nov 6, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Beaverton, OR
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NIKE (Beaverton, OR) in Aug 2014

      Interview

I applied through the website and did not have any prior contacts at Nike. Was emailed by a recruiter and had a short phone interview with her, and then a 30-minute phone interview with the manager. Shortly thereafter I had a campus interview with 2 managers. It lasted about 2 hours and was casual, open, and highly informative. We mostly discussed the specifics of the position and what the group was trying to achieve. About a week later I received a call from the manager saying I didn't get the job, mainly because I was too senior and was missing one key technical skill. I really appreciated him calling directly (rather than HR) and being open about why they didn't make an offer to me.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

We talked a lot about my experience with past managers and what I liked and didn't like about them and their styles.
